There are many great national parks in WA and they all have excellent walk trails which take in spectacular surroundings. Close to Armadale are the Serpentine National Park, Kalamunda National Park and the Midgegooroo National Park.
There are all sorts of activities in and around Armadale from all manner of water sports on Champion Lakes, Abseiling and rock climbing in the hills, trail bike riding, horse riding, whatever you're into you'll find something to get you going.
They are not only precious sources of fresh water for the people of Perth, but also the perfect place for a family day out. Plenty of attractive picnic spots, barbecue facilities and play areas are available - all of which have spectacular views.
Although Armadale is inland, it is only a 30 minute drive from the beaches of Fremantle, Coogee, the family friendly seaside Rockingham and Safety Bay. Or drive just a little further and reach the resort town of Mandurah
